She is a strong believer in cross training to stay both injury free and keep her workouts
interesting. She enjoys running, especially on the local trails with her dogs Lady and
Max. She has been a past participant of the Ridgefield Triathlon.

Serge has been leading Spin classes for 4 years. Serge's approach is that of an outdoor, avid cyclist who tries to make the classes interesting & fun. His eclectic music always chosen with an eye to keep you motivated, encouraged, & smiling. Serge is also is an avid sailor and skier.
Julia has been teaching spin for over seven years. She loves discovering new music that can enhance and compliment the rides she creates for her students. Her classes are upbeat and energetic, especially on those mornings when she confesses to having had too much coffee. She likes to create a ride that is accessible to all levels of riders from novice to experienced, encouraging them to be in tune with their bodies and reach their own potential. When not on a spin bike, you can often find Julia out running (she's completed several triathlons, half marathons, and two NYC marathons) or chasing her mischievous puppy who is always eating something he shouldn't.
Annie Dino is a resident of Weston, CT and has been a personal trainer since 2001. She has a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science and Masters degree in Physical Therapy. She is also former adjunct faculty at Sacred Heart University in their Physical Therapy department, teaching courses in biomechanics and human development. Annie's personal training background includes certification with the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America. In addition, she is certified to instruct and train in Russian Kettlebells. Annie draws from her physical therapy background when designing her clients' programs and favors a functional approach to personal training. Her philosophy is to provide workouts that are safe, efficient and challenging while improving mobility, muscular strength, balance, agility and flexibility. Outside of the studio, Annie is actively involved with mentoring children from Bridgeport, enjoys cycling (of course!), running, woodworking, and is pretty crazy about dogs of all shapes and sizes.
I started teaching group fitness classes in college, shortly after the freshman fifteen. I immediately knew this was something that I loved doing and have obtained the following certifications, as well as others, since then.
I reluctantly got certified for indoor cycling in 1998 when my director needed instructors for a new offering called Spinning. The thought of staying on a stationary bike for 45 minute did not sound appealing at all to me. I went ahead with the certification and have been happily teaching since then. Thank goodness for pushy directors!
I have my BS in Marketing from the University of Scranton.
In my spare time, I enjoy coaching youth basketball and track and spending time with my husband and two daughters.
Jennifer Kaplan lives in South Salem, New York with her two boys, her dog Maya and her cat Zoe. She has always been an active person but after having her second son, she decided it was time to change things up. It was a slow progession but she eventually took on the fitness world by storm. Jennifer started taking spin classes and enjoyed the workout so much that she decided it was time to teach spin. She's been teaching for 4 years now and loves the challenge and inspiring others. When not on the bike, Jennifer is an avid runner. She's completed various 1/2 marathons, the Hartford Marathon and a couple of sprint triatholons. She is always trying to stay active and live healthy and only wants to share that passion with others.

"Over the years I have taken spin classes at various places and have found Elevation to be by far the best. The classes focus on form, heart rate, and cadence, giving you the ultimate spin experience. Enthusiastic instructors and good music make for a fun, challenging ride. The 45 minutes or so that the class takes leaves me feeling slightly stoned. I have lost ten pounds and have never felt better physically and mentally."
~ Joan Garrity
"As a new spin enthusiast, I have found the spin classes at Elevation to be very challenging, fun, and highly invigorating. The instructors are very professional and extremely attentive to each and every person in their classes to allow for individual growth and experience. My fitness level has increased significantly since I joined Elevation spin. Spinning has complemented my workout routine of swimming, running, and cycling outside and spinning stands on its own as a wonderful and effective workout for your routine to better health.
~ A dedicated student of your program, Robin Matthews
"With six month old twins at home, it's been a while since I've been on a bike, either inside or on the road. Michelle's personal training and incredible spin studio have been the perfect motivation to get me back in gear! Elevation embodies everything that is wonderful about Michelle: a positive vibe, a cheerful atmosphere, and an extraordinarily capable and invigorating staff who always leave you anticipating that next class. I can't say enough wonderful things about Elevation and its team."
